Unusual pictures aren’t they? I had been photographing for 10 years almost exclusively models for fashion magazines when I was living in USA and Canada and was ready to change my glamorous life style for the one of a traveling photographer. My first assignments where in the Caribbean’s and in Central/South America. Living in hotels and eating out everyday I came very close to these retired people who where spending the cold seasons in South Miami Beach (very inexpensive then). Two winters and many rolls of films later I got a three years traveling photo exhibition in France at the FNAC galleries.

@Mira this pic was taken 19 years ago before the MISA school was created so i would be surprised if she where unless she had telephatic connections with Grieg....
amazing and beautiful portraits! Each of them seems to tell stories, just like my grand parents used to tell stories.
I remeber when I first saw this image - still as fresh and vibrant as when you first showed me "the Twin Sisters" - Kodachrome?
